Explorers – Learning for Life
Ages 15 to 20
Hosted in conjunction with the Sioux Council Boy Scouts, the Explorers Program offers youth ages 15 to 20 the opportunity to explore career options in biology, animal husbandry, zookeeping and veterinary science through a series of six fun and informative classes at the Great Plains Zoo. Each class is approximately 1½ hours long and will leave students with a better understanding of the careers available in the zoological world. You do not need to be a Boy Scout to attend.
